Brittas Bay Blitz
Both Derrick and Garrett continued their build towards Ironman Florida in November with a third and fourth placing respectively at the Sporting Proud Brittas Bay Triathlon. This was an olympic distance tri with a 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run. Although much shorter than the Ironman distance it is still a great training session. Thankfully the weather held up and the swim went ahead, 2 of the previous 3 years the swim has had to be cancelled.
