Important 3 Peaks Announcement

In light of recent developements in relation to Covid19 and this mornings government announcement, South East Road Club have made the decision to postpone the 3 peaks challenge due to take place on Sunday 5th April. A new date will be announced over the coming weeks. Once the revised date is confirmed, we will notify you all and will permit refunds for a limited time should the new date not suit. Couch to 50km

Waterford Trip

SERC’s new high Viz Gilet (vest) was given it’s first official outing last weekend, when ten SERC members took a trip to Waterford on Saturday last, in what was very blustery conditions and very tough day in the saddle, however the excellent leisure facilities at the Tower Hotel helped to relieve the aches and pain. The return trip on Sunday was a completely different experience the wind in particular was much more favorable. Club Spin Routes

Routes for our Sunday club spins. Depending on the weather a route will be chosen on Friday or Saturday and posted on our Facebook page and Viber groups. For the chosen route could we stick to it for the first half hour or so in case anyone who can’t make the 09:30 start can meet up somewhere along the route. …..An important Date for your cycling Diary ….The SERC 2020 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE will take place on Sunday the 5th of April starting and finishing at the Arklow Rock Parnells GAA club, Emoclew road, Arklow, County Wicklow Y12 E799The SERC 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE is a great warm-up for this years sportive and racing calendar with spectacular views as you cross two of Wicklow’s best known climbs, Slieve Mann and Shay Elliott, plus a few more !!. It’s that time of the year again folks. Membership night will be held in the Coral Leisure Centre , on the 31st of January between 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm. Hope to see a big turnout on the night. France Trip 2019

On the 5th September a vanguard of two SERC members will leave Ireland on a road trip to Bourg-d’Oisans, a small French town located in the south East of France.  The purpose of their trip is to carry equipment, bikes etc and to set up camp.  The remaining group of ten including four alp virgins will fly out from Dublin the following Saturday to rendezvous at a camp site at the base of the iconic Alpe d’Huez in the heart of the French Alps. The group will spend a week climbing the many  challenging and famous Cols in the region. […]

Sunday Spin & Beginners Night

❗️ On Sunday 18th,meeting 9am at fernhill plaza & weather permitting Colm O Sullivan will host a conversation friendly spin with approx 50-60 kms.
